Fellowships for Regular Program in Greece

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one to two years of graduate study and must take exams in ancient Greek language, history and either literature or art and archaeology. Students must be able to read French, German, ancient Greek and Latin with an ability to also read modern Greek and Italian considered helpful. Applicants must be graduate students who are preparing for an advanced degree in classical and ancient Mediterranean studies or a related field. The fellowships provide study in Athens or Greece for nine months and may not be used for costs at the student's home institution.

Students must have successfully completed Latin at Heritage High School and will major in a degree program that requires at least one college-level Latin class to be completed. Applicants must submit letters of recommendation, a recent school transcript, a completed FAFSA, an essay and a special attachment or membership verification information.
