DAAD/AICGS Research Fellowship Program

Eligibility: Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be enrolled in a Ph.D. program, hold German citizenship, be non-Germans who work/live permanently in Germany or work at one of the DAAD Centers around the globe. The grant provides a research stay of two-four months at AICGS.

Amount: Up to $4,725 monthly stipend

Fellowships for Regular Program in Greece

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one to two years of graduate study and must take exams in ancient Greek language, history and either literature or art and archaeology. Students must be able to read French, German, ancient Greek and Latin with an ability to also read modern Greek and Italian considered helpful. Applicants must be graduate students who are preparing for an advanced degree in classical and ancient Mediterranean studies or a related field. The fellowships provide study in Athens or Greece for nine months and may not be used for costs at the student's home institution.

Amount: $11,500 plus housing, board and fees
