Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in programs leading to a Class 'A' teaching license and must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and an ACT score of 21 or higher. Sophomores, juniors, seniors and persons seeking a second baccalaureate degree leading to a Class "A" teaching license must have a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must also agree to serve for one year in any Mississippi public school for each year they receive the scholarship. Awards are made on a first come, first served basis.
